Independently owned and operated since 1971, Southeast Termite & Pest Control was founded in Knoxville by business partners Carl Haynes and Gene Wittenbarger. In 1982, Gene sold his half of the company to Carl, who then passed the company down to his son, Matthew. While Carl did the early work of growing the business and its reputation, Matthew has worked to broaden the services available, both of which make Southeast Termite & Pest Control the company it is today.
